Kat and Keith contacted me about photographing the birth of their first baby. After meeting and talking to them for a bit about their plans they decided they needed to capture the entire journey. Hello Baby is one of my birth packages. It includes a prenatal, maternity, birth and newborn session. EVERYTHING! It includes both product and the digital images. First I met K&K at their 3D ultrasound and I got to see little Savvy for the first time.

K&K got married at Clearwater Beach so we did their maternity session there.

Kat wanted to have a natural birth. I knew for that to happen in a hospital setting it was best for her to have a doula. I talked to her about it and she agreed so I helped find her one. 

In the end she actually ended up having a c-section because baby's heart rate was dipping too much. 

I got to the hospital right after Kat got out of surgery. 

To me this is a great example of how even if you end up with a c-section your birth story can be told beautifully. I know that Kat and Keith would not trade these pictures for anything!
