i love babies. everything about babies i love. i love the way they smell. i love there little feet. i love their little hands. i love the back of their heads right above their necks, i could snuggle my face there for hours.

this mama contacted me about doing her maternity pictures. she signed up for one of my mini sessions in orlando. she and her husband were so much fun and i thoroughly enjoyed capturing their excitement about the new addition to their family. their excitement was contagious!

S7W the best time to do newborn sessions is day 4 or day 5. i have heard day 4-7, but I have done a few newborns at day 7 and it was very hard to get them into a deep deep sleep, virtually impossible. I personally like to get a few awake shots like the one above, but i love the sleeping newborn. im working on posing them. it's not as easy as it looks!

sam i had so much fun with this family i can't wait till sam is 6 months so we can do a family shoot. also, i cant wait for my next little squishy! (i have quite a few cooking in the oven!)
